Friday Camp Staff Update and FPC Has Arrived

The camp staff had their first full day of ministry in Western Kenya today, although they didn't do at all what I said they would do on the blog yesterday.  Instead they were split into 2 teams which went to two churches, Kimuqui and Khalala.  One team was able to get gutters on one of the churches.  They also spent time playing with the kids, they even had some kazoos to give them.  The other team spent the day encouraging church members and playing with the kids.  One of the teams even managed to construct a soccer goal out of string and sticks.  Both teams had lunch at their church.  They were really excited just to be among the people for the day.  This afternoon they made the trek back to their host homes where they are now settled in for the evening.
The team from First Presbyterian is now safely on the ground.  They all made it and so did all of their luggage, so lets praise the Lord for that!  They are on the bus headed to Lukenya Getaway tonight and will spend the morning seeing the camp and teambuilding facility.  Then they will head into town for lunch and to buy the things they need for their trip to western.  Tomorrow night they will spend the night at Lukenya Getaway again and then fly to Western Kenya on Sunday morning.  Please continue to pray for these ladies as they prepare to minister to the ECD centers next week.
