A Day on The Nile and FPC Update

The camp staff had an awesome day on the Nile today. You always have the option to do the crazy route or the one that bypasses the worst of the rapids, everyone did the crazy route! That means they spent a lot of time in the water and had a whole lot of fun! Tonight they are watching the World Cup and tomorrow they will spend the day relaxing in Jinja town. I pulled a random Nile video off the web so you can get a pretty good idea of what they did today. Its a few minutes long but I promise you won't be bored. The video is actually from the company we raft with so its pretty accurate to what the camp staff experienced today. Enjoy!

The ladies from FPC are still having a great trip. This morning they said goodbye to their host homes, which was very sad because they loved their host families! They passed by Khalala ECD to greet those teachers and see that school. Then they went to the Lukusi ECD where they worked with 79 kids and 12 new teachers. These were different kids and teachers than they worked with yesterday so they ran the same program as yesterday. It went great, these ladies did an exceptional job preparing and everyone is really enjoying and getting a lot out of their programs. After lunch, they did some more home visits. Tonight they are all staying at the mission house at Pastor Edwin's and they have another day of training more teachers and working with more kids tomorrow. Please pray that the Lord would continue to give the ladies the energy it takes for their long days.
