A Busy Week At Camp

This week camp has been really busy!  Everything is going great but it is a bit of an adjustment since there are so many more kids than there were in June.  There are 131 precious children from all over the world at camp.  This week 2 of the president's grandkids are at camp.

Here are a few quick prayer requests from the team in Kenya:

  • On Monday night, Tyler spoke to the whole camp about sin and rebellion, setting the stage for teaching the kids about our need for a Savior.  Lots of campers are asking great questions about the Gospel.  Pray that the campers would hear, understand, and believe the Gospel.
  • As we are making plans to expand our student ministry in the fall, we are making those plans based on where we see the Lord opening doors at camp.  As the team builds relationships with students at camp, pray that the Lord would make it clear where He would have us working in the fall.  Please pray that the Lord would give our team wisdom as they make these decisions.
  • Pray for the health of the staff.  As the team gets tired after many weeks in Kenya, typically they start to get sick.  Pray that the Lord would keep them healthy!  This week Greg and Bryce haven't been feeling well so you can pray specifically for them.
