FPC Arrives Safely in Western

The FPC ladies arrived safely in Western around noon and went straight to church.  They worshiped at Bukholi Church, the first of the 37 churches that have been planted in the Bungoma area.  Evidently the generator was pumping so the music was loud and there was lots of dancing for their arrival.  They had a great service and the ladies were able to sing and Caroline played the violin.  After church they were able to have their first authentic Kenyan meal under a tree.  By evening they had broken up to go to their host homes where they are for the evening.  Tomorrow morning they begin the first of four days of clinics for the ECD (Early Childhood Development) teachers.  Some of the group will be teaching the teachers while others teach the children.  Please pray for their time ministering to these women and the precious children.
I didn't hear anything from the camp staff today, which means it was probably a busy last day.  After spending the day with their host families at their churches, the team was supposed to meet back up at a mission house at Pastor Edwin's (the leader of the project).  They always end the night with a big meal and a time to debrief their trip.  Tomorrow they will get back on the bus and head for Uganda where they will be rafting the Nile on Tuesday.  Please pray that they would have safe travel and an awesome time at the Nile.
