Brackenhurst Ministries: Celebrating 525

As of this past Saturday, Camp BlueSky 2011 is officially in the books. We had 525 campers take part in camp this summer, which is the most kids we've ever had! We also had an additional 20 campers who participated in Lil' BlueSky, our first ever day camp, bringing this summer's total to 545! We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with every single one of these 545 campers.

We had an amazing team of staff this summer and we are so grateful for their willingness to make sure the camper's had an amazing time at camp and their commitment to both modeling Christ with their actions and faithfully sharing the Gospel with each child in their cabin. We have truly been blessed by each of them.

Even though we are sad to see camp close out for the summer, we are so excited about what the fall holds for our team in Kenya. We are thrilled to have Bryce, Daley, Tyler, and Greg officially joining our full-time team this August (they have all already been a part of the camp team). Bryce, Daley, and Tyler will be in full-time student ministry positions and Greg will be working with BlueSky Adventures and hopes to do some part-time student ministry work. We are planning to move our student ministry to a new school this fall and expand our work in the schools we have already been working in. Our prayer is that we would be able to develop many more relationships with students and that they would come to faith in Jesus and grow in their walk with him.
