Student Ministry Team Shares With Campers

As you may know, Camp BlueSky is an important starting point for our year round student ministry.  We are so thankful for each of the campers that come to camp and it is our desire to be able to share Christ with them throughout the year, not just while they are at camp.  We have a team of 10 people that will be in the schools this fall, following up with campers and getting to know students who didn't come to camp.  This is our largest team of student workers to date and we are very excited about the work they will be doing in August.
This team is not waiting until August to get started.  Each of them is at camp this summer, some of them are in leadership roles, while others are in the cabins as counselors.  Its important that the campers get to know this team so they have been very intentional to spend time with campers during camp.  They have also been leading the way in taking opportunities to share publicly with campers.  On Monday and Thursday nights, one staff member shares their story with the entire camp.  Stephen and Jason were the speakers this week.  On Tuesday, Lexi shared with the senior camp kids at campout and then Michelle shared with the junior camp kids on Wednesday.  By being vulnerable and sharing what the Lord has done in their lives with the campers, these staff members have begun to lay the groundwork for their work in the schools this fall.
Here are some pictures from camp from the past few days, starting with some of Jason speaking Thursday night.
