On Tuesday, the camp staff traveled to Maasailand (to Ngatataek Community Christian Church Training Center in Kajiado district if you want to be specific). They are working with Dori and Lynn Cazier, who are missionaries with Christian Missionary Fellowship. When they arrived on Tuesday evening, they just spent some time getting familiar with their surroundings. Some of them helped with dinner, others played with kids or played guitar. They got to walk to a local market and are enjoying getting to know Maasai culture. Amanda reported that they were all happy and healthy and that everything just felt enchanted and surreal. Today they were scheduled to begin working on building a chicken house so that the center can have eggs to eat and some to sell so that they will have money to buy food!
