Tomorrow, BlueSky Adventures has a HUGE opportunity to impact a very important organization in Kenya. Its huge in a couple of ways, the first of which is size alone. 220 people are coming through our program in one day, our ideal group size is 80 or less, so it will be stretching to say the least. But more significantly, is who will be a part of this program. Its the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC). You don't have to know much about Kenya to know that corruption is one of Kenya's biggest, if not the biggest problem. All of the poverty and injustice we see on a daily basis could be alleviated if the leaders were more concerned with their people than they are concerned with their own bank accounts and power (of course this is a sin problem with the whole human race, not Kenya alone).
The KACC is the government corruption watchdog. They have an amazing opportunity to help fight corruption, but they also face the daily temptation to turn a blind eye because their task seems so insurmountable. Please pray that the KACC's teambuilding training will improve their communication, trust, and efficiency so that they are encouraged to continue working hard to do a job that must feel impossible. And continue to pray that the eyes of Kenya's leaders would be opened so that they can fight the injustice the prevails in Kenya.
