Start of School Year Opportunities with Students

We hope you will be in prayer for our team over the next couple of days, they are running large adventure programs for the students from the international school.  Pray that this would be a great time of relationship building with these students, starting a foundation that will last for the school year and beyond.  Virtually none of these students come from Christian families and our team has a huge burden to see them come to the Lord.  Kim and Jon will be running a ropes course program for the seniors at Lukenya Getaway.  Amanda is taking the freshmen for a camping trip (evidently she spent all day making vegetarian chili for 100 people, crazy!)
In addition to having the opportunity to work with the students this week, Amanda is also helping with the cheerleading team on a regular basis.  She is really excited because this year the school assigned a faculty member to the team.  Last year she was the only one working with them and it was a huge time commitment, so this is a much better arrangement.  The teacher assigned to work with her is new to the school and is a Christian.  She and a handful of other teachers from the school have been attending the international church our team attends.  It's so exciting to see a number of believers in a place of influence at this school.  Our team is so excited to see what the Lord is going to do at the international school this year.  Please be in prayer for them over the next two days and for their ministry in the school throughout the year.
