The 2010 Staff before their last Summit Fires
5th session ended on Saturday, which brought the 2010 camp season to a close. This is always a very bittersweet day. Everyone is always tired and ready for camp to end but its hard to see it go. This summer we had an incredible staff who truly desired to faithfully live the Christian life and share it with the kids. They were such a blessing to their campers and to our full time team. We are so thankful that they were willing to spend their summer serving in Kenya.
The fun isn't over for the team yet, they still have about a week just to enjoy Kenya. Today they were headed into town for Church. Then they were having lunch with a missionary family that had 2 daughters who served on the team all summer. They spent the rest of the afternoon at the souvenir market and are sleeping at a guesthouse. Tomorrow they will have a chill day to do some more shopping if they want or just spend time in town, at the movies, in an internet cafe, etc. On Tuesday, they head out for a camping trip and eventually on to safari. Pray that the Lord would give them safe travels and a good last week together.
Here are a few pictures from the last summit fires for you to enjoy!
